Tucson Vista Necklace Pictorial Tutorial



This beautiful project, designed by Shanna Steele, was featured in the August/September 2017 issue of Beadwork magazine.   The project uses tubular, flat and circular peyote stitch variations, plus a 2-needle ladder variation.  It is appropriate for beaders who have some experience already.

My pictorial tutorial will guide you step by step through this project.  It is designed to work together with the original pattern, to make it easier for you to complete your project. Materials:
  • 2 gm size 11/o seed beads (A)
  • 3 gm size 11/o seed beads (B)
  • 10 – 2.5x6mm Rizos OR small daggers OR drops OR pips (C)

  • 9 gm SuperDuos (F)
  • 14 gm SuperDuos (G)
  • 2 – 4mm rounds (H)
  • 6 – 12 mm rivolis (I)
