In Sheep’s Clothing

Isn’t that a cute name for a Yarn Shop?  Ginger Balch, the owner of said shop, in Torrington, CT, has been asking me to teach a beading class in her shop for many months.  We FINALLY arranged a date – and didn’t have a snowstorm – and I was joined by Ginger and 5 other delightful ladies for a really fun afternoon!

Everyone learned a lot of basic beading principles, and went home with materials and knowledge they can use for many other projects, along with everything needed for a beautiful swirling SuperDuo Spiral bracelet.

We used beads from Czechoslovakia and Japan, with beautiful colors and many different coatings, and learned about checking 2-hole beads, using a bead reamer and even two different ways of adding Fireline to a project.

Our next class will probably be in May…stay tuned for details!
